Dave & Elsie Kneeland's Children (L to R): Tim, Monica, Kris, Gigi, Debbie, Pat, Bridget, Ken, Pete and Diane. Not shown is Bill, who was taking the picture. The photo was taken just before Dad's memorial service at St Edward's in Shelton, WA. We are standing on a small bridge over the creek flowing though Simpson Timber Company's Shelton office where dad worked for most of his career. When I was a young boy, I used to feed dog food to the trout in Simpson's building, just a few feet away.

I've owned www.kneeland.com for several years and would like to make it a family (present day to a few Kneeland generations back)
site. All of us are connected as Kneelands, Meyers and Tollefsons. I expect this will be a big project that will start really small, with the direct families of WH and Inga Kneeland of Shelton, WA. First, I'll try to include information on each of their children and then their children and children's children, which represents a pretty large group of people. Dave and Elsie Kneeland had 11 children (I'm one of them...their favorite, actually) and in turn, we have gone out and multiplied. I'll also try to add info and resources that dig deeper into our family's heritage. After all, we have been traced back to 1225 in Motherwell, Scotland, a little SE of Glasgow.
There are hundreds of Kneelands in the USA alone, so perhaps we will eventually have enough information to see where each of us fits into the Kneeland Clan.
Cheers and comments are welcome,
Tim Kneeland
